still alive... just not had much to say.
friday was a lazy morning then i went into town in the afternoon. went to paddy's markets to look for some ac/dc t-shirts for my nieces (no idea why they suddenly want these...) but could not find them in the colours/sizes they wanted. after that i went into the office to attend the afternoon tea and farewell barbecue for cjk, who has decided to move on to greener pastures. it is sad to see him go, he was a funny old guy and a fellow bowler.
saturday had an early start as mum and i decided to try the markets at flemington for the t-shirts. no luck, the saturday markets are only the fruit/vegetable sellers. i have to say i have never seen more rude and selfish people per square inch anywhere before in my life. the shopping trolley rules - the aisles between the stalls are very narrow and people with a trolley have the advantage of using it as a bulldozer to knock everyone else out of the way. very stressful trip and by the end of it, i was prepared to kill the next person who rammed me with their trolley...
saturday night was much more fun. went with miss e and shell to see 'bright eyes' at the metro. fan-f*cking-tastic!! another act that i highly recommend if they should be playing at a venue near you.
anyway, i'm off to do the washing and some housework and to try not to stress about going back to work tomorrow...
