i have a desk, i have email, i have a phone (but it is not connected yet), i got paid (a bucket load more that i expected - will wait to see if the next paycheck matches before going wild...). still no real work, still sitting with other people, watching what they do and sometimes driving the process. still think i will love working here. there are now a total of 6 people i know already working there - jen & shell, 3 guys from the old place and my manager from about 1992-1993 - such a surprise to see her there!
