a pleasant day despite the massacre...

up early to finish preparing for the cockroach massacre. after letting the bugman into the flat, i went into the city to have a look about and see if i could spend my $25 grace bros voucher - i'm finally over my impulse buying days - despite looking at dvds, cds, books, shoes and clothing, the voucher remains unspent! there was nothing that i really, really wanted...

i then went to visit baby g and her mother. a very peaceful afternoon drinking tea, gossiping and watching this adorable child be adorable.

came home to the disgusting stench of whatever was used to rid my flat of the unwanted guests and an awful lot of dead bugs lying about. had quick shower, got gorgeous and then went to meet mrs jane and went to harold park for the 10/30 night. met up with adam and jim (mr jane) and proceeded to spend $107 of the free $120 given to us for our entry fee of $10 each. didn't gamble too much - after losing on the first 3 races, decided it was a waste to spend any more.

despite the cockies, i'm very blessed to have such fabulous friends who make me laugh and make it all worthwhile.

i'm off for my beauty sleep now. a big day ahead, washing all the stuff from the kitchen cupboards and putting it all back where it belongs...
