slept in till 8.50am today - sheer luxury...
went to see '21 grams' with miss e this afternoon. an excellent film with a truly astounding performance by naomi watts. sean penn was fabulous as usual but i've always had a soft spot for him, even his more interesting roles like jeff spicoli and mr madonna... another soft spot reserved for benicio del toro - such gorgeous eyes, you could drown in them. i managed to get a free ticket for the film - the ritz stamps a card each time you buy a ticket and after buying 5, the 6th movie is free - i was up to number 6! yippee. celebrated my good goddess luck with an ice cream from sugarplum after the movie - it's probably a good thing that they've moved away from their previous shop directly opposite my place - the marble crunch ice cream is soooo addictive - i have to walk further to get one now...
ran into my old neighbour on the way home. she moved to queensland about 5 years ago and is living locally again - it was great to see her - we've planned to catch up soon.
had a quick chat with colorado tim this afternoon. another treasure who never fails to make me smile.

well, i'm tired and sick of the internet... i'm going to do the unthinkable and get away from the computer and pretend to have a real life for a few hours. i might even watch a dvd and eat dinner somewhere other than my desk...
